Garby Colonial
A gracefully reinvented classic.
Garby Colonial is the refined expression of a legacy. It is a flush-mount version of the iconic Garby that conserves its retro essence, elevating it with a more subdued, more intimate presence. Its porcelain silhouette, paired with classic knobs, pays tribute to soulful interiors, to spaces where every piece has a story to tell.
Crafted by hand, each unit combines porcelain manufactured in Fontini’s factory with noble wood species and metals that add warmth, texture and contrast. With a wide range of finish options, Garby Colonial effortlessly adapts to projects where time is felt, valued and respected.

What do you need to install your fixture?
Below we provide details of the different pieces you will need depending on how you wish to install this collection:
FAQs
Can the accessories from the Do and Do Low collections be combined with Garby Colonial?
The accessories from the Do and Do Low collections (such as frames, bases, knobs and others) are not compatible with fixtures from the Garby Colonial collection. Each collection has its own mounting system and dimensions, designed to function exclusively with its family.
Do you offer porcelain frames with four gangs?
No, frames with four gangs are not available in porcelain. Due to the properties of this material, a frame of that size would not be strong enough to guarantee its durability.
If you need a solution with four gangs, consider the meticulous selection of wooden frames available in different finishes, which retain the aesthetics of the collection and ensure that the piece remains robust.
How does the dual rotary switch in the Garby Colonial collection work?
The Garby Colonial dual rotary switch allows for the control of two light sources (or two circuits) from a single fixture with a rotary knob. The rotary knob turns in 1/4 rotation increments and offers four different positions.
- Both circuits off
- Circuit A off and circuit B on
- Both circuits on
- Circuit A on and circuit B off
Turning the knob one more time returns it to its original position. It can be turned as many times as you wish in any direction: the system is continuous and highly intuitive. This solution maintains the iconic aesthetics of the collection, without compromising on function.
