Do
The natural evolution of an icon. Designed by Oriol Guimerà.
Do exudes the beauty of minimalism – a porcelain rotary switch that reinterprets tradition through elegant simplicity, striking a balance between classic and contemporary styling. Its compact outline, smooth surface and noble feel express its essential nature. Its goal is not to seek attention, but to transform space through its mere presence.
Each fixture is crafted by hand, combining genuine porcelain with noble materials such as precisely crafted natural wood and high-quality metals. Do is not just an object: it is a silent embellishment that speaks the language of timeless design with serenity and character.
It is a design for those seeking minimalist porcelain electrical fixtures with a stylish and functional approach.

What do you need to install your fixture?
Below we provide details of the different pieces you will need depending on how you wish to install this collection:
FAQs
Can the Do collection be installed vertically if I combine more than one element (switch + switch, switch + socket…)?
Yes, in flush-mount installations, the Do collection can be arranged both horizontally and vertically, with no technical limitations.
In surface installations, however, horizontal positioning is recommended, because the cable inlet is located along the length of the base. If installed vertically, the cable must enter through the side, which could affect both the aesthetics and the functionality.
Can the Do Collection be installed with metal conduit for surface wiring?
Yes, the Do collection supports installation with metal conduit for surface wiring. All that is required is to orient the cable entry of the fixture towards the conduit and attach it correctly.
For a better visual appearance, we recommend that you use Fontini’s clamps right at the junction point between the conduit and the fixture. This will achieve a cleaner and more elegant integration.

Does your catalogue include conduits for installation?
No, Fontini conduits are not available for this collection, but you can use any electrical conduit on the market. A diameter of Ø16 mm is recommended to ensure compatibility with the clamps and an impeccable installation.
Do you make bases with conduit inlets and outlets?
No, the bases from the Do collection are not designed to directly connect to a conduit, given their minimalist and compact design.
However, they do have a cable inlet that allows a cable to enter from the conduit. To install it in this way, simply orient the cable inlet of the fixture towards the conduit.
What finishes are available for cables for surface wiring?
For the Do collection, cables are available in three finishes: white, black and Marsala. This palette is designed to naturally fit different styles of projects, from more restrained to more expressive.
Can the accessories from the Garby and Garby Colonial collections be combined with the Do collection?
The accessories from the Garby and Garby Colonial collections (such as frames, bases, knobs and others) are not compatible with fixtures from the Do collection. Each collection has its own mounting system and dimensions, designed to function exclusively with its family.
Do you offer porcelain frames with four gangs?
No, frames with four gangs are not available in porcelain. Due to the properties of this material, a frame of that size would not be strong enough to guarantee its durability.
If you need a solution with four gangs, consider the meticulous selection of wooden frames available in different finishes, which retain the aesthetics of the collection and ensure that the piece remains robust.
How does the dual rotary switch in the Do collection work?
The double switch from the Do collection allows you to control two light points (or two circuits) from a single mechanism with a rotary handle. The handle turns in 1/4 turn intervals and offers 4 different positions:
- Both circuits off
- Circuit A off and circuit B on
- Both circuits on
- Circuit A on and circuit B off
Turning the handle one more time returns you to the initial position. You can turn it as many times as you like in either direction: the system is continuous and very intuitive. This solution maintains the collection’s iconic aesthetic without sacrificing functionality.
