Dimbler
Shades of the past with a familiar form.
Dimbler is the evocation of an everyday object, elevated to an icon. Inspired by the classic desk bell of the past, it recovers the retro aesthetic with a rounded toggle that encourages interaction. It has a familiar feel. Its shape is endearing. This porcelain light switch conjures up a connection to the past while remaining modern.
Available for flush-mount or surface installation, Dimbler combines noble materials such as aged bronze with porcelain handcrafted in our own factory, resulting in a piece that transmits warmth and authenticity. It is the perfect choice for those seeking decorative electrical fixtures with soul, character and essence that tie the past to the present.

What do you need to install your fixture?
Below we provide details of the different pieces you will need depending on how you wish to install this collection:
FAQs
Why are there fixtures with and without a cable inlet? How do I know which one I need to purchase to install it correctly?
The cable inlet is a lateral slot that allows cables to enter for surface wiring. It is not required if you install the fixture on a flush-mount wall box or on a base. If you have any questions, tell Fontini about your situation to receive further guidance.
What finishes are available for cables and conduits for surface wiring? Do you offer black cable?
For the Dimbler collection, the same cables are available as for the Garby collection, in just two finishes: dark brown and white. Black cable is not available.
Conduits are also available for surface wiring with an aged metal finish, designed to integrate naturally into classic or rustic environments.
What is the difference between the base and the frame?
The frame is a flat piece, available in wood or porcelain. The base, in contrast, has a larger volume and envelops the rear of the fixture. It is only available in wood. Both accessories can be used for both surface and flush-mount installations.
Do you offer porcelain frames with four gangs?
No, frames with four gangs are not available in porcelain. Due to the properties of this material, a frame of that size would not be strong enough to guarantee its durability.
If you need a solution with four gangs, consider the meticulous selection of wooden frames available in different finishes, which retain the aesthetics of the collection and ensure that the piece remains robust.
When is it necessary to purchase a frame adaptor?
The adaptor is required when you wish to install a Dimbler fixture with a frame. If the installation is on a flush-mount wall box, the adaptor must include a chassis. If there is no wall box, the adaptor should not include a chassis. The Fontini sales team can help you choose the correct model.
